The rental contract does not end when your landlord dies. The landlord's heirs take over the rights and obligations of the deceased landlord. They must respect the rental contract. The contract simply continues; you don't have to sign a new one. You don't even have to change anything in the contract. The new landlord will provide you with the new contact and payment details.
